Why this book
We forgot how to do this — and it’s costing us thousands.
For generations, our people kept a home for next to nothing. They stayed cool with no machine, cleaned with what was under the sink, kept the bugs out with a dollar box of powder, and fed a whole family on a few dollars a week — and ate well doing it.
Then the machines came, and the bottles, and the boxes. And in about one generation, we let nearly all of it go. We were taught the old ways were poor ways — that you had to spend money to live decent. That was a lie, and it has quietly cost every household thousands of dollars a year for things our grandmothers did for pennies.
So I wrote it all down — over a hundred methods, the whole of what I could remember — so it doesn’t stop with me. And so it doesn’t stop with you.
